Sound Machine by Nathan Dragon

What I’d said to myself (to remember).

Tonight, all I remember is that I wanted to remember what I’d thought,

Don’t forget, I thought,

About what the waves from the sound machine sound like.

Referring to my thought

I thought, Oooh that’s good.

Other than waves, I mean,

I thought, lying in bed. Something.

Last night it sounded like something,

plugged in by the door.

The sound machine is making wave sounds.

And something’s missing.
